An exceptional story!

Every installment in the Vampire Diaries series pulls me deeper into the world of Fell’s Church and the characters I have grown to love.

Bonnie, Meredith, Matt, and of course Elena, Stephan and Damon. Bonnie really shines in this book. The story was captivating, the build up...addictive. I didn’t want it to end.

Prefer the TV show

I must say I am very disappointed in the books. I watched the show first and the books’ are nothing compared to the show. Totally different storyline, very weak and the narrator made them worse

Wow

Just wow. This book was sad, scary, depressing, and then incredibly happy. I can't say much more without giving away the story.

Hear me out, it's great, but

I really enjoy this series, I'm new to the books. I was but a wee babe when when it came out in the '90s. I really enjoyed the aspect of the gang carrying non without Elena, it got quit boring in parts, but I stuck it out cause it's one of those series. It's good, eagerly waiting for the next book! As always, love the narrator!

The best one so far

Have you listened to any of Rebecca Mozo’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

1-3

Any additional comments?

Who wrote the Publisher's summary? It's not an accurate description Of this story AT ALL. I don't want to have any spoilers in here, so I can't point out the discrepancies or ask the summary writer

Love

Love the story. Don’t like the accent of Damon and Stephan. But that may be because I saw the series…

Best of the Four Books

This book was the best of the four books but still not that great overall. It’s worth skipping especially if you like the TV show.

Not a very good book

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

If you love the TV show like I do, then book is not for you. The characters and the storyline is very strange and they hold no relation to the TV show. The show is loosley based on the books, but the writers amde it better.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Just finished The Secret Circle, Volume one and my next listen will probally be either Dracula or Love Unscripted.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Rebecca Mozo?

As this was the fourth book in the series, I thought that I might get use to her narration, but I did not. She tries too hard and at time I fund her rendition of the book a bit irrating. The lady that narrated The Secret Circle, volume one would be a much better fit to this book.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment mostly as I am absolutely obsessed with the TV Show. The books are not very good.

Any additional comments?

Stick to the TV show, if you are a fan and rather listen to the Vampire Academy.
