Incredibly helpful

This book is incredibly helpful for understanding what your transgender child might be going through and for understanding what it really means to be transgender. It's a wonderful resource for anyone struggling to understand a transgender or non-binary teen in their life.

Informative

This book was super informative, thorough and inspires a lot of empathy toward trans kids. Also, the narrator has a lovely accent (Irish, I think?) that made the whole thing flow very nicely.

Good information at its core

The narrator pronounces certain vowel sounds in a way that is quite irritating. This includes the 'a' in the word 'family'. As this is a common word in this book, it is very distracting.

The core of this book is very informative for families with children who identify as non-binary or trans-gender. The listener does have to filter through a hippy-esque approach that often borders on being hokey. It is worth the effort, in order to become a more informed parent.
