Virtual Voice

Este título utiliza narración de voz virtual
Acerca de esta escucha
Consuela Carter felt the chemistry immediately when Officer Handsome walked up to her driver’s side window. The traffic stop was only the start of a courtship that included thrifting, home renovation projects, and an odd road trip.
Ricky and Consuela soon realize that they shared more in common than an interest in swatches of color. The connection between them was just the ticket for a beautiful journey together in life. A journey, they looked forward to embarking upon.

No to virtual voice
I cannot overstate how awful I find this virtual voice process to be. There are far better narration options out there everyone knows it. Anyone who enjoys audiobooks has experienced them. We the listening fans have used said options. There are even other Olivia Gaines titles that are evidence of such great performances. For example The Zelda Diaries, Maple Sundaes and Cider Donuts, and most recently Blind Spot. So it boggles my mind why these other titles have been subjected to this maltreatment. I recently listened to a sample of Being Mrs. Blakemore and am still shaking in disbelief at how horrible it sounds. There are 10 books in the Blakemore series and I weep at the possibility that the other 9 will suffer the same disrespectful fate. If I were prone to subscribing to conspiracies, I would conclude that someone in the audiobook business is trying to consign Ms. Gainses' efforts to the ash heap of the audiobook format. And, in case my feelings about this process have not been made clair, all these virtual voice efforts are CRAP. The person making these choices is an audiobook hack! For shame.
