Publisher's summary

The world's foremost academic expert on UFOs and alien abductions provides the first evidence-based explanation of a mystery that has perplexed scientists for decades.

Based on more than 700 hypnotic-regression interviews with alien abductees and a Roper survey of 6,000 adults, The Threat reveals why the aliens are here and what they want, explains why their agenda has been kept secret, and exposes their frightening plans for earth and its inhabitants. In a direct, authoritative challenge to researchers who believe the abduction phenomenon is essentially benevolent and spiritually uplifting, Professor David M. Jacobs proves that there is a far more disturbing and potentially dangerous plan underway, with possible alien domination at its core.

In this remarkably well-researched and well-written book, Professor Jacob has added a new complexity and depth to our knowledge of the UFO and abduction phenomena. The secret alien agenda revealed here is ominous, but it must be confronted before it is too late.

Contains mature themes.

Dr. Jacobs is the best!

This is a hard topic to buy into, unless you have done the research. Then no doubt something is going on. Not sure if it’s exactly this crazy ass hybrid program but maybe. I mean what else are the aliens who have been seen for past 75 years doing?!

I mean when you total all the ufo sightings over the years, it’s a crazy high number. So they are here and I’m thinking all kinds of aliens are here. So the ones Dr Jacobs is talking about are one group that seems to include grays, praying mantis types and insect oids, whatever the F that is. Yet if this is really true as Dr. Jacobs describes, wow talk about one crazy situation. The one thing though is the cameras and videos setup. I mean you would think that someone would setup like 50 cameras in every possible secret angle and get something. Yet just like going through walls, doesn’t seem possible but probably is. Either way, it’s pretty interesting compelling stuff.

50 shades of the greys

the author missed the perfect title for the book. it's basically about hybrids having sex with humans. graphically.

believable

the story is very plausible. if true, very disturbing and sad. the author seems to be dedicated to filtering out extraneous unbelievable cases. it doesn't make any of it real, but the book is a good listen.

Definitely a different examination.

I found this book captivating, diving deep into a subject that I thought I was very well read on but I guess there’s still soo much to learn. I like the sincerity the author brings into his decades of study in this subject and he’s not afraid to cretic other researchers who have fallen for so much of the BS that dilutes an discredits the seriousness of the subject. I have always respected David Jacob’s and is one of the best and unpretentious researchers with true academic credentials.

Outstanding read!

I found this book was insightful and thought provoking to say the least. Regardless of the lens you view the phenomena be it theological or scholarly the thought remains unsettling. If true I think the aliens are forgetting human beings are batshit nuts and often do things with no logic at all, I am not so sure they are as equipped as they think to “control” the cuckoo’s nest. We are great at chaos, just don’t look in their eyes!

Intriguing and Shocking

This book presents an entirely different view of our current times that is disturbingly accurate in its findings.

Methodical. Detailed. Terrifying.

If you truly want to know the experiences of abductees I warn you, you may not like what you find.
