About this listen

It's time to return to the town of Independence for another hilarious romp!

Mercy, Martha, and Maude are at it again! Not only has Martha Tindle sent away for a mail-order bride for her son, Morgan, without telling him, but her cantankerous sister, Eunice, is coming to town for a visit. The three matchmaking meddlers are beside themselves when things don't go as planned, and poor Martha is not only stuck with a son who doesn't want a bride, but a sister who has other ideas of whom he should marry. Then there's the bride herself...Daisy Evers, a woman with a secret she hopes to keep hidden, whether she marries or not.

Love prevails

More good intentions, diabolical plots, misunderstandings, fast friends, and love.

It's hard to be around unhappy people with a not-so-hidden agenda.

Good narration too.

A heartwarming mail order bride romance!

What did you like best about this story?

The Thanksgiving Mail Order Bride continues the journey of many characters that we have come to know in the Holiday Mail Order Bride series. The characters are entertaining and well developed. The story line is fresh and mingles characters from previous books so you feel like the story continues where it left off. The plot moves along at a good pace. This is a sweet and delightful story that will captivate you and keep your attention from the beginning to the end.

Have you listened to any of Michael Rahhal’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Michael Rahhal did a fantastic job on the narration. He really brought the characters to life. He did a great job with the different accents, especially the Irish accent. Sometimes his impersonations made me giggle. I had to laugh every single time he said “uhh huh”. You can hear the passion in his performance with the concise and clear speech while adding depth to the story.

Any additional comments?

Kit Morgan is one of my favorite authors. I know that when I pick up one of her books that I won’t be disappointed. Even though this is part of a series, each book can be read as a stand-alone. I have read/listened to each book back to back. If you are looking for a good mail order bride series to start, then I recommend to start with the Holiday Mail Order Bride series. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a heartwarming mail order bride romance.

The Best!!!

The three M's, Mercy, Maude and Martha are up to their shenanigans again, this time ordering a mail order bride for Morgan. Of course he is floored when he meets her and the adventure begins!
I adore this series and have loved every single audible. Fantastic fun, heartfelt story with the best audible narrator and it does not get much better!

Laughed Out Loud!

This audiobook was so enjoyable that I laughed out loud several times. The narrator made it even more humorous with his different voices for the ladies in the town. The book was a wonderful mail-order bride story. Troubles and misunderstanding follows Daisy and Morgan from the first. How could it not with an aunt like Morgan’s? Lol! Never a dull moment!
I can’t remember where I got this audiobook but all opinions and statements are my own.

Good narrator

Narrator does well to bring to life all the different characters. I enjoyed the story, its a simple uncomplicated holiday story. Hard to find Thanksgiving stories so i was excited to find one.

Narrator, at times, is hard to take

Story so-so, narration, particularly of the Aunt, is grating, distracting and Ugh.
Otherwise the book is pleasantly satisfying.
