Don't Judge a Book By Its Cover

Dare I say this was a 5 star for me? This was a bookclub read for my girls and my mother recommended it just based in the book rating and the synopsis on the back of the book. I am not going to lie I was dreading reading a book about a bunch of women in there early 60s. I was soooo sooo wrong. This book had me cackling so loud and I felt so deeply for the characters. This was truley a a group of women who created a monthly potluck brunch were they built a sisterhood around. They created a cookbook together and bonded over there life experiences and friendship. I wish my friendships last this long. Debbie is something else baby. She is me and I am Debbie lol. I seriously was so proud of Gwen and how she finally stood up for herself with the support of her friends. I got my HEA from JoAnn and Caleb and was so happy for them. I hope the next book gives us an update of Emily & Aaron. Amazing writing Lilly. The banter in this book was chefs kiss. 5/5 stars from me. Can't wait to read The Waratah Inn 4 book Series.
