Maggie and crew help out a reluctant policewoman - Jo - unravel years worth of secrets - can’t wait for the next one - love this series

Great Plot Twists

I really enjoyed this. I love all the characters in Purity, Maine! Jo and the Martini Club are a fabulous mix of characters. Kudos to the narrator.

A great listening

I am getting used to the characters. After reading book one I enjoyed this one too. The plot is original, not expected in this little town.

A big mystery ended up less deep and dark.

We needed to meet the "central character", Zoe, more. Her basic energy permeated the story, without being present.

Clever,creative,engaging and entertaining.

Loved it so much I completed it in one day! I especially love the entwined espionage aspects and the twisted ending.

My dad introduced me to Tess Garrison years ago and she never disappoints. The martini club is a great series. looking forward to the next one!

Great Short Series

I loved the characters and the unpredictable nature of them. Both books were well written as to not drag out, keeping the story moving along. Wouldn’t mind listening to book 3!

Audio narrators were great

This is the second book of The Martini Club series. I really enjoyed the first book and was excited to get into the second one. This book focused more on Jo and her investigation, and the family involved in the missing girl situation. While the story kept me guessing - which I liked because I didn’t guess the ending ahead of time - I wish The Martini Club had been more involved. They were side characters, which is fine, but I really liked book one’s storyline with their CIA experiences. Hopefully book three gets into their back histories more!

Great mystery!

I like the characters in this book. Is was interesting and involved me in the story. Can’t wait for the next book.
