Yay!! Love this series

This was great! The returning characters always make me happy in this book. It was nice to see the changes for the main characters and to see they grow. It’s not seeing cookie characters in some stories which is refreshing. And the sudden parent plot was pleasantly different. It’s worth it. Waiting for the next book in a few months!!

fun Gilmore girls inspired

the whole series gives gil ore girls vibes at least for the main character, people will talk about "this kooky town" and not show a your of it. the cookies thing was them having a strawberry festival they went all out for. but the characters are really where it shines. you see them face theor own personal struggles to grow as people and heal traumas. the relationship between the characters felt so warm. I just wish they spent more time including the cast of the "kooky town" but it's a fun romance, the spice is at a normal amount which is something I prefer but if you want it heavy on spice that's not thus book. it's a book about internal struggles, and what parenting and family even means. if your intimate cozy stories in a small town life, Gilmore girls-esque, it'll feed that itch.

Great characters and story!

Who knew strawberry pancakes could be so spicy! Iris and Archer are a fun couple to follow. I loved the little family they created.

Fun and interesting

I feel this is the best one of the series. Archer, Iris and Olive are fun characters to follow and they are easy to read about. Archer is a world renowned chef who finds out he has a five year old daughter in a small town in America. He leaves Europe to take custody of his daughter and needs a nanny. Iris has held down multiple jobs but never one for long, applies for the position and gets it. From there the fun begins as the couple become friends and have an intimate attraction for each other. Archer in the meanwhile is trying to run a pancake cafe and re-produce the “original “ pancake. Olive is precocious but lovable and adds a little bit of extra flavor to the story.

This friends to lovers, close proximity and an unexpected pregnancy tale is fun and easy to read. There are a few twists but a happily ever after ending makes this book well worth the time to read it. I gave it a 4.5 ⭐️ rating with a spicy rating of 3.5 🌶️. If you read the rest of the series you need to read this book, I highly recommend it.
