twisted ending

whoa never expected that ending. totally thought I had it figured out. not. surprise! thought the main character was weak but definitely not with what happens at the end.

Unputdownable

Hooked me from the start, and could not stop listening. Read it in a day of continuous listening. My first by this author, and won't be the last. Sustained suspense leading to a sad but satisfying ending. Great characters and an unpredictable plot put this one a cut above the usual mystery novel. Very good, very understated reading by Lisa Coleman. Well worth the credit!

I almost hated the book

The phase "WTF" definitely popped in my head throughout the whole book. I got to a point where I hated the main character for her stupidity and just had to stick around to see how this train wreck was going to end... and I didn't see that ending coming but I enjoyed it.

I loved this book. I couldn't stop listening. I would highly recommend it. Enjoyed the narration as well.

This book was a bit of a struggle but I couldn't not finish it. I didn't love it, didn't hate it.

Story line: A wife has an affair with stepsons friend. The plot does thicken a bit.

It was a back and forth then an now book. I don't really know what to say or even how to describe this book without giving spoilers away.

As for the narration, I did enjoy the narration. I think she did a great job. Lisa Coleman has a very nice reading voice and is pleasant to listen too.

This was a free read and 1.99 audible so yes it was worth it.

Interesting

I enjoyed the book! I can talk about how the main character made me mad with her actions but that is how it is. A good book draws you in whether you love or hate the character if it gets you feeling emotions about the character(s) it has drawn you into the author's world (story) and that is why I love to read.

GOOD JOB!

I thoroughly enjoyed this captivating psychological thriller. With Lots of twists and turns, it kept me guessing the whole time and, just when I thought I had it all figured out, I got sucker punched with an absolutely stunning ending. Wow! Excellent narrator as well. Definitely recommend this audiobook.

Anxiety inducing

Loved the narration as always. Such a good job. The story...I felt sorry for the lead character even though she pissed me off. All of them really at some point or another but the story was excellent and I wouldn’t say it kept me guessing so much as it kept me fooled. I would definitely recommend this book and this author. I have liked every book by this author and am not looking forward to catching up with her writing so that I have to wait for her to complete another book 😩. I hope she continues to outpace me. Nice job as always Ms Croft

I loved this story. I was constantly trying to figure out what the twist ending could be and it turned out so much better than anything I had imagined. I love the last sentence!
