A book of action, not just advice

This is a book that requires action from YOU. They provide exercises for you to do to get to the root of who you are and what you want from yourself and your career, which definitely go hand in hand.

Their podcast, Squiggly Career, is even better in my view. But this book is great as well.

High-level and obvious

I listen to 1 or 2 books a week, many of which are in the business and self-help scope. Unfortunately, this was probably the worst book I’ve chosen. The information is obvious and simply not helpful. I hate to put down a book, so maybe if this is your first business book you could enjoy it. I can’t recommend it though.
