The Shore Road Mystery is the sixth book in the original Hardy Boys series.
Bayport, the home of the Hardy Boys, is suddenly experiencing numerous car thefts. When their friend, Jack Dodd, and his father are accused of stealing a car that mysteriously shows up parked behind their barn, Frank and Joe vow to clear Dodd's good name and track down the car theft ring.
The challenge is that the police, state troopers, and even Frank and Joe's detective father, Fenton Hardy, have had no luck in figuring out how the cars disappear along the Shore Road without trace. What plan will the boys devise to trap the mysterious thieves, and will it be successful?

Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

the time in the past.
I liked the new narrator. I have read a lot of the books in my younger days and I need to research frank Dixon and the books history. I enjoy the older stories verses the new one with cell phone and the fact they carry weapons.
