The diverse and complicated stories
I liked that the stories were complicated with hard obstacles and how they overcame their obstacles but they could have prolonged the suspense but sex “scenes” were very detailed classy yet very sexy and provocative

I really enjoyed the narrator for this series. She does a great job doing all the characters and has good pacing.
Story wise I liked the first two stories just fine, but found Landon’s story lacking a little. Too much waffling in the characters and then too quick if a resolution. It just felt face tracked more than the others. So four stars for the first two but only three for the last one.

I love Carly Phillips!
I loved Carly Phillips' style of writing and this series. The characters were enjoyable and I was invested in their lives. I wish more depth was given to the endings...I like endings that give me a quick look into the future of the main characters. However, as that's my only complaint i recommend this book and CP to any romance reader that likes a sassy romance book. The narration was impressive and I was interested enough to look up the name to confirm other books were listed under his name.
