So Good!

This story is super exciting. It's about a guy who has to fight off dark powers with his friend. They go on a wild adventure, get stronger, and try to save their kingdom. I couldn't stop listening. It's full of action and really fun.

If you like Terry Brooks, you'll LOVE this!!

This is a phenomenal story with elements of magic, mythical creatures, hero(s) in training - all taking place in another time and place and part of an adventure that's easy to follow and love. Just start listening and you can't help but love The Seventh Ideal. More please!

The next great fantasy

What a captivating story, narrated that kept me listening, and disappointed when I had to pause my listening. The main character obtains a special magical power, but he learns it’s not necessarily always a good thing. How he uses it and when leaves him with decisions that are often troubling. The narrators voice seems perfect for the story as it added instant credibility for me as I listened.

Hopefully this is the start of a series. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend

I grabbed this audiobook kind of on a whim, and I’m really glad I did. The Seventh Ideal has that classic epic fantasy feel, but it’s also surprisingly personal and emotional. Halden is one of those characters you root for right away, not perfect, just trying to figure things out while the world around him starts falling apart.

A great fantasy

Very enjoyable listen. Narrator is easy to listen to and the story was engaging. I liked the friendship element. Having a special power is not always a good thing.

It's an entertaining book for young readers

I found this topic recurrent at some point. A young protagonist embarking on a magic mission where the dark enemies must be defeated, but I enjoyed this overall. The narration was good and the story itself is entertaining.

This was an exciting story and a fantastic journey. It explores temptation (magic powers) and how this can have an adverse effect and cause struggles both internally and externally. Very nice descriptive writting that creates images in the mind while you listen. Fun, exciting adventure!
