Really enjoyed the story, easy to read and nice.

I enjoy all of the Maggie Miller books. The books are easy to read, light hearted for the most part and not violent in any way. Good for the soul.

I could not get past the narrator mispronouncing pasta throughout the entire book…😩😩 it seems like someone should have caught this..

I would almost be willing to bet...

...that Maggie Miller didn't write this title. This book has a level of maturity in the writing that is usually absent in Miller's work. Either she's been taking classes or someone else wrote this. There is nothing of her usual style or voice. Nothing. It's a vast improvement of skill, style and depth of plot. While entertaining, her other two series read like books written by an older woman who is trying to live out daydream fantasies through beach reads. Nothing wrong with that and sometimes simplistic plot is the brain candy needed for entertainment.

This book feels like it was written by someone younger with greater skill who's pushing a plot rather than working out fantasies. If it truly is Miller, she deserves all the stars for improvement.

Totally different flavor. If you're looking for her typical, you might not like this one.

Good story but use a different narrator for the rest of the stories!

The story was good but narrator was monotone and made the story not as good as the other ones. Please use a different narrator for next books

Loved it all

All of it was wonderful. Especially how she helped the author deal with the loss of his wife

Slow start, but is building.

The performance was a little anti-climactic. Made it hard to listen the first few chapters. For better as the character’s personality’s came out. Will listen to the next!

The ending left questions???

I thought the book storyline was excellent but not happy with the ending !! Left me hanging!!

The way they end is the hanger!!! IMMEDIATELY purchased Book 2……. BUT WHERE IS BOOK 3…. Cmon, if I have to wait 3 months, I’m going to forget details……. Have I missed something? Was Book 3 Next Up In My Series & Jeff Bezos slipped? I NEED IT NOW.

Disappointing

I wanted to like this. I was on the bubble throughout the entire book. I like the characters. I’m interested in some of the storylines. I could even overlook the weird pronunciation of pasta. But when the book ended with no closure from any storyline, I was out! It’s not appealing enough to have to listen to the whole series just to see the resolution.
