Fantastically Read!!

I have read the book before and worried that listening to the audio version might alter my view of the characters, but the opposite is true! His reading is so well performed and perfectly paced, adored every chapter.

I enjoyed how the relationships developed and were discovered - I could see myself in them.

Read & listen

Reading and listening simultaneously to The Scarlet Pimpernel enhanced my enjoyment of this long loved story. I read from a Signet Classic with eight pages of 1982 scenes showcasing Anthony Andrews, Jane Seymour and Ian McKellen actors in the CBS Television production of this romantic adventure film.

Worth a read!

If you're in the mood for a delightful and intriguing tale, look no further than this well-beloved classic. Orczy's characters are captivating and charming - as well as delightfully silly and superficial.

The story did take a bit for me to get into, but once it picked up, I found myself easily progressing through its pages. That being said, I would say the best way to experience this story is by seeing the musical where you can share in the absurdity, drama, and tension with a live audience. But no one could argue this story isn't worth experiencing in its written form at least once.

One of my favorites… very well narrated

This novel has been a favorite of mine for many decades, having re-read it multiple times. Michael Page does a wonderful job with the performance, and remains consistent throughout when it comes to the accents, dialects and voices he uses for each character. Wonderful job!

Well written

This was required reading for me in high school and while I remember having enjoyed it greatly, I never picked it up again until now. It was wonderful. Highly recommend. I might make this one of my yearly reads. The reader did a great job voicing the characters.

Victorian era chick lit

The narrator is spot on and makes the book worth listening to. I enjoyed it!

Great narration

The excellent narration really brought this story to life. his ability to take on the different characters and their personalities made it a great read.

The narrator had a stellar way to portray all the characters in the story! The story was wonderful and classic. Tasteful and full of great imagery!
