Wonderful.
Wonderful, timely. Thoughtful and conversational yet full of deep wisdom and practical application. JMC overflows with humility and love - and occasional humour. Grateful for his life and the intentional way he carries his role as pastor and leader and apprentice under Jesus. Such a breath of fresh air in this hurried world. So grateful for this book. It has truly changed my life and brought me closer to the unhurried, intentional and patient ever-present Jesus.

A life-changing old-new rule for life
John Mark Comer excellently performs the reading of his own writing - with all perfunctory (you'll know it when you hear it) humor. Jesus's yoke for life has never been so holistically explained to me, and has never been more needed. Life-changing words - thank you, John Mark.

Cannot recommend enough!
This book helped me pull up the handbrake on my life, I am excited to stop, go slower, lean into the present, lean into His presence. I am so thankful for the context, conviction and hope to a slower life, the life of Jesus shared through this book!
