Wow, this might be better than the first.

I loved the first book and was looking forward to reading the second book after the way the first book ended. I must say I was blown away. I could not stop listening; it held on to me and wouldn't let go until the last word. I am a fan.

Just as good as the 1st in this series

Such a good book to listen to. Accents are an added plus when so well done. Some narrators attempt accents but sound so strange that they can be hard to understand. Not the case for Jay Myers. He is very good. This book has an excellent story line. Look forward to book 3, The Target!!!

A tense book patriotism and betrayal.

Loved this book and has added to my desire to continue this story. Lance is a true patriot and despite his desire to escape the life he had he has no choice but to do the right thing for his country despite them stabbing him in the back.

Details of each character and the buildup of the plot and the endings that lead you wanting more

New to Saul herzog

Honestly, this was really good. Well depicted action scenes that didn’t leave details or action scenes muddy at all. I could keep up easily. Actually the narration initially was slow, and while I’m not big into fast forwarding fiction books, listening to jay Myers at 1.15x was just right.

Additionally I had just finished reading or listening to some books from Jay Snyder, and was feeling very open-minded to the name Jay, thus I gave Jay Myers a try. ‘Twas a good decision, indeed.

I will be adding him to my list of narrators I can tolerate and that I like, and that can pull off multiple accents, including females with ease.

Excellent work Saul, and brilliant job Jay. Keep up the dope work gents.

Entertaining book

I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to continuing the series. I would recommend giving it a chance if you are new to it
