Publisher's summary

Tony Ryan is bemused. He thought he understood the way the world worked, but now, as a sacrificial lamb of the credit crunch he finds himself drifting.... drifting into the clutches of the ever resourceful Pete who could find the angle in a Fairy Liquid bubble - and into the arms of the enigmatic hippy girl, Astrid, who's about to introduce Tony to rabbits, magic caves and the joys of mushrooms.

Deeply entertaining light read

I had a slow start on this, I liked the narration right off, but the story took a bit more time as I did not know what to expect of the author. He turned out to be a wonderful creator of the absurdly funny one hapless thing leads to the next plot. It was ultimately kind and well written, which I appreciate in a light read. I will certainly be looking for more of his work.
