The Recipient

There were so many twists and turns in this intriguing thriller. This story kept me on the edge of my seat from the beginning all the way until the end. I can't wait to listen to more books in this addictive series. Marcio Catalano and Veronica Pace both did an amazing job bringing this story to life with their flawless duet narration. I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Excellent and unpredictable!

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book.

It had well developed, captivating characters and it kept me on the edge of my seat!

I will definitely check out more books from this author!

Interesting turns in this one.

I enjoyed the unexpected turns of this book. It kept me wondering and thinking and then surprised me by what happened. Love it.

Unexpected turn

The small synopsis I thought was really all the book was boy was I wrong. Great story and told very well. I really liked having more than one narrator.

Good story & Narration

Too short, but I enjoyed it. I was very impressed with the narrators as well.

Excellent Thriller!

This was my first Audrey J. Cole’s book, and definitely won’t be my last. This is the first book in the Emerald City Thriller series. This is an excellent thriller. The characters are well developed, and intriguing. The storyline is thrilling and captivating. The plot is well crafted, original, and enthralling. Impossible to stop listening! I liked the characters, the suspense, and the twists and turns. Marcio Catalano and Veronica Pace did an outstanding job with the narration. I love their voices together! I enjoyed it, and I HIGHLY recommend it! Looking forward to listening to Inspired by Murder, the next book in the series.

Loved this book

Lots of intrigue, great character development and an all around great read! I recommend it!

Awesome Twists!

Audrey J Cole outdid herself with The Recipient. I loved the twists she wrote. I did not see the ending! Both narrators, Marcio Catalano and Veronica Pace brought the characters to life. They conveyed the emotions perfectly. This book is part of a series and a standalone listen.

Excellent thriller with various twists!

A copycat serial killer is on the loose and detective Wade McKinnon must find him. Elle's husband received a partial brain transplant and notices strange changes in his behaviour. could these events be related?

Audrey did an amazing job building up a suspenseful plot with twists throughout. It was creative and unique and kept me glued to my earphones to hear the full story. The characters were interesting and well portrayed. The brain transplant idea really got me thinking and has so much potential!

I really liked that there was both a male and female performer as it helped navigate the story and point of views.

This is a must read, along with the others in the series, all equally as enthralling!
