Narration

Really enjoyed the narrator's tone and cadence. Added gravity and patina to the author's writing.

Fascinating information / odd narration

This is a fascinating book from an author who combines scholarship with field experience. If you are interested in the environment and like travelogues you will enjoy this book. The narrator has a great voice and is very clear. He’s just a bit slow at times making listening a bit odd, but nothing that kept me from enjoying the story. I learned so much from this book. A lot has happened since it was published in 2012, all confirming the authors analysis, so instead of dated the book sounds prophetic at times — sadly so.
