Acerca de esta escucha

When he is asked how to be happy, Osho responds by questioning the very logic of the question. How can wanting to be happy ever lead to happiness? Osho springs back and forth between exploring the neurotic American dream of happiness, and describing what it actually takes to be happy.

He specifically mentioned that happiness is not something to be chased or seized aggressively. Tribal cultures living in the old ways are pointed out as people that are living with great joy dancing and smiling. In the modern world we are all forced to get the same education and he used this as an example of why so many people are unhappy. If a dictator took over and made everyone get an education in dancing, then many people would not be happy and much of that dancing would be insincere. Imagine if a dictator took over that loves poetry and forced everyone to get an education in poetry alone the same thing would happen. He specifically describes how forced everything in the western world is and how taking a more feminine approach would do everyone some good. The world is unhappy because we are going about chasing happiness in a very aggressive masculine way, forcing everyone to fit into the modern world regardless of their feelings on the matter.

Osho defines a route to happiness for humanity.
