Dry, sarcastic, 16-year-old Cam Cooper has spent the last seven years in and out hospitals. The last thing she wants to do in the short life she has left is move 1,500 miles away to Promise, Maine - a place known for the miraculous events that occur there. But it's undeniable that strange things happen in Promise: everlasting sunsets; purple dandelions; flamingoes in the frigid Atlantic; an elusive boy named Asher; and finally, a mysterious envelope containing a list of things for Cam to do before she dies. As Cam checks each item off the list, she finally learns to believe - in love, in herself, and even in miracles.
A debut novel from an immensely talented new writer, The Probability of Miracles crackles with wit, romance, and humor and will leave listeners laughing and crying.

"Funny and entertaining." (New York Times Book Review)
"The story unfolds through narration as beautiful as 'the sun's everlasting gobstopper descent behind the lighthouse." (Kirkus, starred review)
"A witty, clever, meaningful, kind of kooky life-sometimes-stinks-but-it's-all-we-have tour de force." (School Library Journal, starred review)
Very bittersweet

If you could sum up The Probability of Miracles in three words, what would they be?
honest expression of teenage feelings facing death.Who was your favorite character and why?
The main character, because she could still be surprised by life even though she didn't want to be. She also learned that her attitude and comments, no matter how true, could hurt others. License is not grace. What about Emma Galvin???s performance did you like?
He voice and narration were perfect for the main character and all the others. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The last scene when she followed the flamingo and her whole family was with her.Any additional comments?
