Bringing Back Books on Tape

I loved listening to stories on tape as a kid and using my own imagination! This is exactly that. My kids love listening to this book in the car. They have the book at home and have enjoyed a new way to experience the story. They even act it out in the car. They are 5 and 3 years old. I would say it is easier to experience the Audible version if you read the book first and also see some of the reads on YouTube. Great way to get them off screens as well while in the car.

Mo Willems is a genius

IF you haven't read a Mo Willems' book then you are seriously missing out. Willems is an amazing children's writer who provides children with funny, captivating stories with characters that draw you into the story. The pigeon books pull children into the story as the characters speak directly to the audience, breaking the fourth wall.My children always ask to read the pigeon books and if you choose this book, your children will be begging you to share them too!

Simply love it. From age 12 to age 5, it has been a knee slapper everytime.

everything stood out

I loved everything and I did not like kind of that. The voice actor does not sound like a pigeon.

We love MO Willems 😊

My kid discovered MO Willems in the 1st grade 2 years later she still love his book. his experience on Sesame Street has helped him create wonderful, funny books. I think he is our favorite childhood author. We love the grumpy pigeon character and thr elephant and piggy books. They always make us laugh.

She loves the pigeon stories.

Allison enjoys listening to the pigeon stories. She finds it fun and puts smiles on her face.

Not the greatest choice for an audible book

This is the type of childrens story that obviously relies on pictures to understand what’s really going on. Great performance….almost good enough to “see” some images in our minds, but just needs the actual artwork for the full effect, I think.
