You see it coming, but yet…
Let’s cut to the chase: by about a quarter into the book (probably sooner, but we’ll stick to easy fractions), I knew, with absolute certainty, the secret about The People Next Door. But I didn’t care that I knew! This was such a good story, well-woven and satisfying. And the narrator is outstanding. She put just the right nuance to each character’s voice that conveyed their personality and role in the story perfectly. It’s an easy listen that I greatly enjoyed.
And yeah, I was right. 😉

Good and creepy!
This book had me on the edge of my seat the whole time, I did not see the twist coming. Perfectly creepy and suspenseful, another great one by Beevis. I thought the narrator’s voice was too soft and sweet for this scary of a book. Otherwise awesome.

Slow Paced
I enjoyed this listening to this audible. The story was a slow paced thriller that will keep you entertained and angry at the characters. Midway through you will kinda figure out the mystery, but will continue reading just to make sure your guess is correct. Overall it is a pretty good mystery book.
