romance with a bit of suspense

This was a great book that had both a great steamy romance and just the right amount of suspense. It is a book that will keep you turning the pages. I highly recommend this book

Great story, atrocious narration

Story is great, the narration is unbearable. I actually returned the book and downloaded the kindle version to finish it. The voices did nothing to enhance this story.

Membership read book 2 and now 3.
overall 5 ⭐️, narrators 3⭐️, Story 5 ⭐️
I almost passed on the whole audio experience with Kydd's stoner/surfer exasperating slow cadence speaking style on book 2. Must be listened at 1.25 speed or 1.5..... or it's just not worth listening to. Just read the Kindle version.
Biggest complaint....Kydd's female voices are the most grading.

Outside of the horrible Kydd FMC voice....
Book 3 was wonderful!! I knew the twist from being a crime show junkie.... but the build-up was fantastic!!!

I will continue to read the series or listen in audible as they come available in my membership.

Good listen

Good story and narration. Parts were frustrating but overall I enjoyed it. The accents were well done.

Wowzah

While this particular troupe isn’t my usual taste I really liked the way she pulled this off! Good story with at time a sad but always beautifully captivating plot. Loved the melding of the characters on this story, loved loved loved

So Fun

This story was so much fun to listen to and it had a great storyline. You have the FMC who is trying to help someone who has been her crush for so long. She isn't sure that she can pull off what they are trying to... FMC has self confidence issues and doesn't believe that she is the bad bish that she is. MMC is amazing and easy to fall for, but he has been through a lot as well. They come together and fireworks!!!

Quick Read!

I enjoyed the majority of the book but simple communication and a home security system with cameras would have solved a lot of the major issues they were having.

good story

I like the story, not a ton of spice but good. The male narrator isn't my favorite, his female voice sounds very whiny. Not the end of the world though, I'd still listen again.

Love the slow burn romance. Great series.

Male narrator's female voices are pretty rough. Didn't ruin it though. Love the characters. Give me more!

A Must READ

this entire series is hands down one of the best I have ever read. The narrators, the plot, and the ending will have you hooked and not wanting to stop listening. Loved it the entire way beginning to end!
