Another Masterful Tale of the Seven Sisters

While bits of this whole story took a leap of faith, I wholeheartedly enjoyed the story and the authentic feel of Ceci’s travel to Thailand and Australia, learning about the pearl industry and the tragic orphanages, and visiting with Ma, Star and the other family members who are interspersed throughout. Can’t wait to get started on the next one!

writing was a little predictable

the voice of the story teller and her accents if different characters were a little grating on my nerves

like the tie to the other sisters, but also stand alone. fun to see the heritage of each sister's strengths.

Favorite one so far

I am an Australian living in the USA so perhaps this journey back to Aus resonated with me more than the average person. I loved the multiple narratives that were woven through out this book. I shed a couple of tears which didn’t happen in the previous books of this series. I’m curious to see if any of the other books can top this one.

Such a good story of uncertainty

I loved this story. I learned so much and laughed and even got a bit teary eyed. I really appreciate the historical research that goes into all these books, but especially this one. What a delight. On to the next one !
