I enjoyed that the plot wasn't as obvious as I had assumed. The twist is very lovely. I finished it all in one day. Couldn't stop listening. I appreciate the attention to detail in the writing of this book. If you love any kind of investigation show, movie or books, this is 100% for you.

Loved this story, kept me interested - on the edge of my seat! 4 stars instead of 5 because I guessed the twist.

Entertaining but predictable.

It was a fast paced story, but utterly predictable. The main character was poorly written, she had so much more potential to be a strong character.

predictable

They say there is a twist, but the twist is predictable. Trigger warning, it deals with human trafficking and r&p@. The story didn’t really pull me in. It was pretty boring up to until the climax at the end.

It was well written and the way narrator was very good. The twist at the end was unexpected.

Great story that kept me listening all the time. The narrator was wonderful and I feel like I knew the characters!

Compelling Mystery

I trust no one. No one at all.
This story had me suspicious of every single person that Hazel came across including those close to her. This was a well built up mystery with variety of characters.
The clues were dropped here and there for the reader to determine the outcome, but even if you are sure you know the answer, you probably don’t.

The narrator blew this one out of the park. They captured every character and had a unique and distinguished voice to keep them apart. They were on que for every emotion and perfected even the suspenseful moments. Plain and simple, this narrator executed an exquisite performance.

I highly recommend the book, especially the audiobook.

Definitely keeps your interest!

This is the first book I have read by this author! Loved the book. Great characters! Wish there was a book 2 in audiobooks with these characters!
