this series is so good, have had the books for years , love the audio version, tale as old as time !

one of the best installments

Sophie shines here even though this book delves into Josh's growth.

while he is obnoxious his suspicious nature adds a good foil to other characters .
Perenelle and Nicholas are like an aunt and uncle filled with secrets and wonders.
Dr. Dee is one heck of a mastermind and the supporting cast of mythological beings and historic figures is amazing.

Great book, eh narrator.

If you have an issue with people with very wet mouths while they read this is going to be rough for you.

I loved the story but...

I really enjoyed the story but I kept getting distracted and grossed out by hearing the saliva in the reader's mouth. Yuck!

Performance

The story was very good but the performance needs work. You can hear the narrator licking his lips and his lips smacking!

Very, very good fantasy.

I know that a lot of people feel this series of books was written for a younger crowd, but I was interested enough in the content description to read them myself. I was really captivated and the writer kept excellent connect throughout the books, paying attention to detail, and not leaving loose ends anywhere. The descriptions were just right and the story was fast moving and exciting. I really liked this writers imagination, and the narrator is outstanding. For a good read without long dalliances on sex this is your book. I liked the writers sticking on point and moving us all over the world in such a creative way.
I recommend this book and the series to everyone of all ages and background, a total escape that's refreshing.

Entertaining

I liked this book . It was entertaining to listen to this book. The narration was a good quality of story telling and the books story line kept moving and was entertaining.

Still going strong.

I flew through this book a lot faster than the others and I found I couldn't stop. There is a lot of action in this one and some very gut wrenching parts. This is probably my favorite one so far!

Great series

Loving the series. The voice actor is good but could be better. That is all.

Amazing

Absolutely amazing, per the usual for this series. I am excited for the graphic novel coming out August 2023!
