About this listen
This short story combines the multiverse concept of changing one’s fate with a new-adult level of mystery. Animator-style printing and colorful illustrations give this quick audiobook a real adult-swim, comic book store feel.
When Eva studies quantum physics in a seedy bar, she finds some unwelcome attention, and Killian...the best transdimensional research subject she could ask for. Eva is fascinated, and invites him for a drink. In return, he explains how he can trek through different dimensions to find other versions of his life.
Eva is thrilled enough to follow her new subject home, nursing him through the pain and suffering from the dimensional transfer. Killian admires her beauty, and lets her interview him about the multiverse and how he can navigate it. An odd friendship forms, and Eva starts to see Killian as a victim of his own gift. She continues to help, without revealing the real reason she cares about him.

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

short but good
I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
This was a good, but very short, sci fi story. It had just enough content to capture my interest, but it was over far too quickly. I really wished it was longer. The narration is done well and I find I'm looking forward to part 2.

Entertaining sci-fi short
This was a fun short with a multi-verse jumping smartass who propels the story down some fun avenues. I look forward to more form this series, and hope a collection of the shorts is compiled. The narration was good and hope Brendan McGovern gets a lot more characters to depict in future stories. All together a title with some sci-fi and some comedy mixed up with some fun characters.

Killian is great! I want to hear more!
Count me in for part 2! Great characters developed in very little time. Truly infinite possibilities where this story could lead. The twists and ambiguity serve to open more and more possibilities instead of confound or disappoint!
Killian kind of has a super-power, but not sure he is any sort of hero... He is rough around the edges and a little crude, but there is a person in there you want to get to know better and hear more about.
I don't know if I can get the feeling that Killian is an alias for Rick Sanchez, but then again it could just be the inter-dimensional insights and drunk voice-acting.
Overall an amusing, fun story that should meet the expectations of anyone who enjoys themes of multiple-dimensions and reality that is not too rigid.

Great New Series! Excellent Characters!
The Navigator Singles Series, Book 1 is written by Clifton Kenny. The narration is provided by Brendan McGovern. The running time is only 42 minutes, during that time the listener will be treated to an excellent short story dealing with a multi-verse mystery with a character that is a drunken, surly, genius on the subject of quantum mechanics. He attracts the attention of a young doctoral student in the bar by driving away the local Frat boys with his knowledge on the subject Eve is working on. For those looking for a quick and enjoyable listening experience the characters Killian and Eve will have some listeners thinking of Heinlein characters in the best possible way.
The narration was really enjoyable by Mr. McGovern during this short performance. I enjoyed the way he switched the mood and whole being of Killian during his different experiences. The production quality of the audiobook was excellent as well. I heard no problems during the entire performance. There were not any detectable flaws that I was able to hear during the entire performance. Clifton Kenny Publishing delivered an excellent audiobook. Very interesting concept, unsure on the ending
This series has a lot of potential. This first tale in the saga basically introduces our traveller and the concepts behind what he can do and includes a couple demonstrations. I am not sure about it being broken down into these small tidbits, but it definitely has my interest.
Admittedly, the ending of story throws out the direction I saw this series heading in, and I'm unsure if it's for the better. I will listen to the second in the series before making a decision on the whole, but had that twist not occurred, I would have jumped into the second head first.
The narrator wasn't all bad, but definitely didn't do the story justice. His rough tone and reading style was a slight distraction. It definitely would've benefited from someone more experienced.
I was provided this audiobook free of charge in exchange for my honest review.
