About this listen

Cristie Matthews is obsessed with all things related to The Phantom of the Opera. On her once-in-a-lifetime trip to Paris, she visits the Palais Garnier to see the play. After the performance, she hides, remaining in the empty building to absorb the history and relive the haunting story once again. Then she sees him! But how can that be? He is a myth, a legend. Or is he?

This was an awesome retelling of Phantom of the Opera with the twist of the Phantom being a vampire. I loved the twist that Ms Ashley took with this story. I found the story very entertaining and one I could easily listen to again.

Amanda Ashley has been one of my favorite authors I am completely and utterly Phantom of the opera obsessed I’ve seen the play too many times to count I’ve seen all of the movies so I am a total fan this book is extremely short but totally worth the read think of it as a short story and without giving any spoilers away it is compelling and captivating I really wish it was a bit longer but not disappointed with my purchase this is the second time I’ve read it so I figured I’d write a review if you’re not a fan of the opera fan you probably won’t like this book if you are you definitely will :)

Short but addicting

Beautifully written. Great depth of feeling. Brings the phantom of the Opera to life as did Andrew Lloyd Weber. A must add to your library. Ashley at her best.
