The ending you prayed for!

Though it may have seemed prolonged in the middle - but that is likely because you were feeling the main characters pain and just wanted relief! Great writing put you in his shoes and helped you to suspend and moral compunction about 'swatting the mosquito."

Rupert got what he deserved

I am grateful that this was such a short read because I don’t think I would’ve been able to deal with Rupert for a full-length book. I know Rupert lost his wife but damn that man was annoying as hell. It’s like his whole personality was his wife and now it’s his wife’s death. My goodness, the MC (Michael) deserves a prize for not jumping over tables just to smack Rupert across the face, he was incredibly disrespectful and intrusive drilling Michael about his failed relationship and it seemed like the group used “he just lost his wife” as an excuse even though they followed with “it’s not an excuse but still”.

I was so glad when Kate (Rupert’s sister) stood up for Michael after he spoke to her about leaving the trip early. The bomb that she dropped was crazy but also, how am I not surprised that Rupert was an absolute jerk to his wife?

That ending was… WOW, did not expect that lol. Kate and that ending are the only reason why I added another star.

Pleasantly Surprised!

I enjoy all of B.A Paris’ work and this was no different. It kept me on edge and the ending was great.

Definitely not her best work, I almost felt annoyed while listening, but it was an ok way to kill some time.

Cute story. definitely didn't end the way I thought it would. Will Watt is awesome, I love his voice. Could have listened to more, if it was longer..... a lot of detail in a short listen.
