Excellent writing

I loved the way the story was acted out. The author skillfully uses interviews to tell the story, allowing listeners to piece together the characters’ histories and their relationships with the killer and each other. I really enjoyed listening.

Hard to follow

The acting and production values were excellent. However, there were so many characters and time changes that it was difficult to follow. For that reason, the final reveal fell flat for me. I listen to many “who dunnit” types of mysteries, and very rarely have this problem.

Outstanding voice acting

Great story, but more importantly the voice acting is second to none. The whole time you feel like you are listening to real people's interviews, not actors. Atmospheric, dark, and very good.

Haunting twists

The author has constructed a gripping and haunting story with just the right pacing and a number of interesting twists that elevates the story and makes the fictional account as gripping as if it were true. Voice acting was superb and totally engrossing.

Short but good

Full production short mystery with a twist. Enough of a story to make it interesting and the audio enhanced the story. Made it sound like a podcast.

would have been perfect if...

all the sniffing, the drinking noises, and swallowing noises. ugh it's awful. no one wants to hear that.

short but not great

Kept trying to figure out who was talking. also the background noises, doors, sirens, paper, breathing very distracting. all that time to have the mystery solved in two pages?? narration hard to understand at times too!

more like an autobiographical event, kept advancing ahead to understand the story, didn’t like each version of the. narrative

What a cast for this fictional ‘true’ crime story. I hug on every single word!

Very engaging!

It was a slow build but the characters kept me involved and I listened all in one day. Couldn’t stop till the end.
