Lexi Blake is awesome

This book kept me listening almost day and night! I love the characters and it feels like visiting old friends! The humor, suspense, excitement it’s all included for your listening pleasure. I loved it

Never ever does Lexi Blake disappoint. Love the narration of Ryan West. It truly is like being with old friends each and every exciting chapter. This series really really grabs your interest and never lets go.

Another epic story

The 3rd book in the series doesn't disappoint. The twists and turns in the storyline carry on in the series as a whole, and create a rich experience well worth indulging yourself in.

Okay, I'm finished.

TBH, I'm sad that the book is over. I LOVE getting to be back in the world with the Taggerts and all of the crazy characters that surround McKay Taggert. What a crazy but wonderful world. I was laughing to myself because I'm not sure if someone reading this cold with no experience from this world would get it? They would probably either be extremely perplexed or think that it was just crazy and unrealistic. I think Lexi Blake has just done a fabulous job of getting her readers hooked slowly without us really understanding that we were hooked. By the time we get to book 24, nothing phases us anymore...and I do mean NOTHING. But, I digress......

Okay, this book is the continuation of a long running story arc that started several books ago (notice I said continuation...not culmination...but NO SPOILERS). We have been getting snippets of information about a woman who is messing with the people surrounding Kyle Hawthorne - his family, his coworkers, the woman he is enamored with.... We just get a little bit. It has not yet been the main focus of any story, just peripherally around the edges. Well, that changes now.

There is a normal story line for this series: Deke works at MT and he is approached by his high school girlfriend who is a brilliant tech person working for a billionaire developing a new version of satellite. She is worried that her boss has nefarious plans for the new tech they are developing and 2 people are already dead.

They have a past that they both have not been able to forget, but you know how it goes, neither wants to contact the other. Surprise, surprise, her boss (the billionaire) is interested in BDSM and happens to find out that Maddie could possibly his ticket into a club in California (through Deke). I think that the biggest thing that I took away from everything at the end of this was how LONG of a game this woman was playing. The level of the planning, the amount of ducks that had to be placed in a row. Amazing, just amazing. Actually, the better word would be CHILLING.

So, lots of action. Lots of information comes to light that we have been curious about for the last few books. Great relationship between the two main characters. And the secondary characters - just LOVE them all. MaeBe, Kyle, Boomer, even Drake get explored in great depth.

Ryan West does a great job narrating, as always. At this point - to me, he IS the voice of this series.

Ugh, there is a BIG cliffhanger, but it is worth it. Now I'm going to be waiting (not very) patiently for the next book because things are going to get crazy.......

Wow!

Lexi, Lexi, Lexi!! How do you craft these stories!! So intricate and mysterious. I love the seeds you plant in books prior and love seeing it all pan out in future books! This was such an interesting read! I love how we have stories that include characters from prior books! It makes everything so cohesive. I held back reading this so I could go right into the next one! Glad I did because I know it’s going to be another stellar read! I am a lifelong fan and will continue to read(and listen to) whatever your little brain comes up with!

I'm totally hooked on this series!!!

I'm in love with this author, and the men of sanctum ❤❤❤ Lexi truly has a gift of bringing the characters to life, and Ryan West is such a phenomenal narrator, but this is the best one yet!!! There are so many twists and turns, but holy cow...what a stunner at the end...can't wait for the next book to be released. Please tell me it will be soon!!

omg...I don't understand HOW she can do this, but thank GOD she does!! The M&M world continues and I completely believe that there is actually an agency, these are all true stories of real live people. Strong characters, strong storylines, plenty of holy shit steam...and let's not forget the brilliance of narrator Ryan West!
