If you could sum up The Man Who Sold the Moon in three words, what would they be?

Heinlein's Future History...

What did you like best about this story?

These stories have "aged" surprisingly well. I find myself just as excited by the audiobook version as I was on my first reading of the book, now many years ago.

What does Buck Schirner bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The voicing made the book stand out as even more memorable than my first experience reading it.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

"Requiem" very nearly brought me to tears.

Any additional comments?

Rated PG 13 for mild profanity. (Single instance.)

A Science Fiction Classic!

"The Man Who ..." may be RAH's most intriguing short story before he fell into the novella and adult length genres. Incredible attention to details and twists and turns. Joe 2015

Buck Schirner perfectly captures the 1950s speech patterns of the characters. They sound just like I imagined they would when I first read this book.

Superb performance!

As I continue to read and listed to everything Robert A. Heinlein, I really enjoyed The Man Who Sold the Moon, and the books other related short stories. Some may comment on it’s dated contents, but this, as an aspiring author and historian, just makes his books that much more compelling to read and learn from!

Excellent stories from the 1940’s !

La historia es increible y aun mas sorprendente es que halla sido escrito tantos años antes y muchas de las cosas ya estan sucediendo quiero leer mas de este autor

Increible

It was better when I read it 50 years ago. It was better 30 years ago.

The most memorable part is the title.

love the title story.. all the stories here are intertwined. the end of the title story and requiem are dusty reading
