Acerca de esta escucha
Snow White had a wicked step-mother, and she thought she escaped her by staying at the house of the seven dwarfs. However, there was a "tattle-tale" mirror that kept saying where she was. The step-mother found her three times, but was not able to hurt her, because she kept getting saved.... This Grimm's Fairy Tale has many characters, as portrayed through the narration of Kathy Verduin.

Beautifully told, both charming and elegant.
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I am recommending this book to friends because the story is paced just right. Neither too fast or too slow, it's a pleasure to follow along with. There is no distracting background music or sound effects, and those are not missed at all. The narrator actually acts the story and characters, rather than just reading. I like the way she manages to convey, by her tone alone, that the Queen's priorities (physical beauty) are inappropriate and wrong.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Magic Mirror?
The moment when the Queen learns Snow White is still alive even after several attempts to kill her is breath-catching because of the tone of controlled fury in the storyteller's voice.
What about Kathy Verduin’s performance did you like?
Kathy's performance is an excellent balance of smooth, elegant vocals and rich characterizations. Her characters are definable and distinct but not over the top. Kathy's emotional tones suit the story perfectly. The pacing of her reading speed and the clearness of pronunciation are outstanding and add a lot to the story.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
How vanity and misplaced values created a monster out of a beauty.
Any additional comments?
I am so looking forward to purchasing more of these fairy tales with Kathy Verduin as narrator!
