Great Narration but . . . . .

Julia Whelan was excellent as usual, but the storyline was lacking. The ending was such a disappointment. I feel like I wasted a credit on this one.

Original premise and great narration

Such an original idea with wonderful characters, enough intrigue to satisfy and a healthy dose of magic. Sounds like a great recipe for life too, not just love.

Inspires belief in love’s magic!

Beautifully written, excellently performed. Not my usual read, yet now a favorite. I would likely scoff at a book of such a fantastic story, but this was perfectly presented. Very well laid out and written. I will forever be more open to extending my typical reading preferences because of The Love Scribe.

Great, cozy, story with some great lessons about the many different meanings of love. Definitely worth a listen’

The idea of the book was a good one, but I found the story lacking

Not what I was expecting!!

This is a new author to me and I listened to it because of the narrator, Julia Whelan. This is the first Magical realism story I have listened to. It was so engaging and well written. There was suspense, sadness, happy endings, wonder and of course love. There is stories within the stories of people, including the Heroine that are not embracing their gifts in life and are stuck. So many twists in the story, not what I was expecting. I recommend this listen.

Meaning of love!

My favorite narrator, she has a very good voice and is so easy to understand!

Good but..

There are just a couple questions I had that I wish were answered. I did like this book a lot, though. Narrator is my favorite.

Good book. Kept my interest all the way through. Enjoyed the storyline and performance. Would recommend.

A very quirky story.

I wasn't sure about this story until I started listening. Once I started, I didn't want to stop. What an interesting story. Was it about magic? Was it about life and love? It's a little bit about all of that. This is a good story about love, life and a bit of magic. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
