About this listen

Tasha Bellamy never expected to get lost in a snowstorm in the Swiss Alps, nor did she expect to fall into a cave and find a sleeping dragon…literally.

One touch awakens the black dragon, and he transforms into a gorgeous ancient Russian warrior named Vasili.

She soon learns that Vasili has been missing from the world for more than 700 years after going on a quest for a dragon stone. But the quest cost Vasili his mate, and driven mad with grief, he sealed himself inside the cave to die.

Tasha can’t help but be drawn to the stormy-eyed dragon-shifter and soon learns that her future and Vasili’s are entwined with his far more than she ever could have imagined when he tells her they are possible true mates.

Unable to resist falling for the noble-hearted dragon who’s touch sets her body aflame with desire, she yearns to heal his broken heart, but a revelation of her past might tear them apart.

Non-stop action!

There has been a secret Tasha's parents have kept from her all her life. Tasha is the last of the Drakor line and she's been hidden away for years to be kept safe from retaliation from the Barinov's. She was never allowed to leave her mother's home her entire life. She decides to take a trip long trip. While she is skiing in Switzerland, she gets caught in an avalanche, unknowingly waking Vasili, the long lost Barinov brother that was presumed dead. I absolutely LOVED this book. I was heartbroken at times for Tasha because she was torn between falling in love with Vasili and not sure if he truly loved her for her or because she's linked to his former mate, Mariana.
The narrators for the audiobook, Stella Hunter and J.F. Harding were absolutely outstanding through the entire story. Both fantastic with their accent work. Combining a fabulously gripping story along with the Stella and J.F.'s performances, you will not want to stop listening to this book.

I truly enjoyed this book!

I've listened to all 4 books now. I'm so glad she tied up most of the loose ends in the other books and gives us glimpse of the future of the Barinov dragons I really hope she gives us the English dragons stories next would love to hear what happens to the father and sons story line. While I like the narrator in the first 3 books the best she did a great job of a Russian accent to me anyway and I loved how she pronounced Gregoire better , it through me off just alttle at first in this book sense they pronounced it different. But the two narrators did a good job. I highly recommend this whole series and I believe should be ready in order to get a well rounded complete story of the Barinov dragons.
