About this listen

The queen of YA thrillers is back, and this time, it's a fight to survive.

In Piper's hometown, teenagers keep disappearing, and everyone assumes they're just a bunch of runaways. But when yet another person disappears, Piper and her best friend Hazel suspect something more sinister is going on.

So they decide to investigate, determined to learn the truth. Their search for answers leads them to the source of the missing people...and their captors. Piper and Hazel suddenly find themselves locked away in a secluded building in the middle of a privately owned forest.

But the building isn't only meant to keep them imprisoned; every room is a test to see if they can make it out alive.

And failure means being lost...forever.

Yes this was intriguing!

I really enjoyed this book. I did not like the end due to the Cliff hanger. I hope there is a part 2. If not it still was enjoyable and kept me going.

WOW

I love this book in every single way! After reading “The Cellar”, I wanted to read more of Natasha Peterson’s books and I was yet again, in awe of how well thought out every single detail in her novels are. I love all of the plot twists and all of the character development within the book. It was AMAZING! I highly recommend, the narration was great and everything!!

One of my favorites!

One of my favorite scary books! I couldn’t stop listening! It gave me nightmares though but totally worth it! I like how it doesn’t rely on f-bombs to make it more dramatic like so many other thrillers.

Good but a little predictable

I’ve been listening to 3 of Natasha Preston’s books this past month and I really liked all, but this one was a little predictable from the start

Over all

The ending is so annoying because it’s a cliffhanger. If Natasha Preston writes another book (a sequel to The Lost) I would absolutely love to read it. But other then that the book The Lost was absolutely amazing and I will continue to reread this book.
