A Reminder
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The short essays came to me as a reminder of the parts of my own life I often forget to cherish. Also, being read by the author gave it special meaning.

The Long Steep Path
Very different from her other books, this one is a series of inspirations that have enabled her to walk the steep hill of her recovery and her life. I found them moving, and especially enjoyed hearing them in her own voice.

Getting to know this author
I really didn’t read the description of this book before I purchased it. I was expecting a novel. This is some autobiographical events and thoughts from Catherine Ryan Hyde. I have really liked many of her books so it was interesting to get to know more about her.
