loved it
This was a really great mystery. I changed my mind several times as to who done it as I listened. I like that I didn't know who the villain was until it was revealed. I would have never picked this up to read it and I'm happy it's on audio so I got this great experience I would have missed out on. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing it to life.

A Perch of Lies and Blackmail
Hard boiled sarcastic P.I. Lucius Anoraq is hired by an egotistical elder widowed Emu to find her thieving daughter-in-law and retrieve a rare valuable coin without involving the authorities. This case sounds like easy money retrieve the coin and case closed. Wrong it's never that easy for Lucius when he starts to investigate and things don't add up and the only thing that do are the bodies. Lucius starts to wonder what has he gotten himself into when the plot twist start to rear themselves murder, blackmail, manipulation, rape and exploitation. This storyline has quite a few twist that truly make it a real whodunit. James Scott Spaid narration is again flawless and spirited. I highly recommend this book and series to all mystery lovers. This is my honest unbiased review that I am voluntarily leaving of my own volition.
