What is a lineshack? It's a small cabin used by ranch hands, a place of refuge during storms. Sometimes the only place within miles, a place that can mean the difference between life and death, especially when a winter storm is about to bare down on you. This winter is no different...except that this time there's three murderous brothers, the sheriff, and a group lost skiers who may just need the same lonely building. Suspenseful and engaging thriller across time
Peggy Lee Johnson's "The Lineshack" blurs the lines between past and present, artfully. Story features numerous characters: a troubled trio of brothers, two young couples on a skiing holiday, the local sheriff, and Levi, a mysterious stranger from another era. Their stories all converge during a whiteout winter storm, with some tense moments indeed. Strong performance by narrator KC Dalbey — his midwestern accents are excellent. Part 5 is dramatic and tense. Will this story end well, or end horribly?... Find out!
