About this listen

In the brief pause between apocalypses, one woman standing for honor, courage, and commitment will bring the UnknownWorld back from the brink.

WWDE+210 - Earth is silent.

Sarah Jennifer Walton had turned her back on humanity after losing everything.

Now she’s their only hope.

Civilization has fallen in all but a few places as the Madness ravages Europe and Asia. America is the last holdout against the corruption causing nanocytes to malfunction.

Bethany Anne is far away, fighting for the survival of the entire universe, unaware that her technology has turned on humanity.

Earth needs a protector from Bethany Anne’s line, and the Kurtherian Lilith has found her champion.

Sarah Jennifer might not be Bethany Anne’s last blood descendant on Earth, but she’s the only one with the ability to unite Salem’s Weres and magic users and shape them into a force capable of facing the Madness head on.

Join her in The Line Unbroken as she takes her first steps on the road to the Age of Magic.

A wonderful addition to the kurtherion adventure

More please. I can't wait for the next book. It's amazing how big the kurtherion world is without getting old. Keep it up! If you are thinking of getting this book stop thinking so much. Get it now.

Outstanding Story

Do not miss the adventure of both the healing and the realization Sarah Jennifer is called to do something incredible. Her long lonely journey brings her to where she finally becomes the woman her Grandfather, Terry Henry Walton knew she was capable of. 5 Stars Highly Recommended. N.D. Roberts is already on her way to being a Rock Star Author.

The line unbroken

My enjoyment of the story was majorly reduced because of the over the top narrator. Please tone it way down

Well done!

This is another action packed book containing bits and pieces of technology and military service.

The Birth of Magic opens with a Bang and it’s a hit!

I’ve put off writing the audible review for too long, I listened to it again and realized the depth of Ms. Roberts writing. For a relatively new author, she writes as if she’s been at it for years! This story flows so smoothly from the beginning to each event. It’s almost like the acts of a play; each part builds on another until the inevitable crescendo with a bang! This story combines so many elements of the Kurtherian Gambit Universe with a flourish. It’s almost a reflection of Sarah Jennifer’s grandfather; the indomitable Terry Henry Walton, who took it upon himself to bring the world back kicking and screaming after WWDE. SJ really begins that journey here in this book. In ways this compares to real day events and shows us the type of fortitude one wants in a protagonist. The writing combines the perfect blend of elements needed to create a perfect recipe for a post apocalyptic novel. I never give spoilers in my reviews, I try to relate my thoughts and feelings about how well the writer conveys the situation, feelings and emotional content of the story. N.D. Roberts has done that completely. To bring readers into a new age, one that is dark and fearful, and explain it fully is a difficult thing, yet she does it with a flair! I believe this will bridge the gaps of two apocalyptic events Earth has endured into an even more majestic age by the end of this series...The narration is absolutely top notch! Emily Beresford is probably one of the best voice actresses I’ve heard! Each voice that is used is different both male and female, she’s able to tweak each one so you can pick each nuance up. I’m truly looking forward to the next book in the series, Walk The Line...my thanks to both author and narrator for a wonderful movie in my mind! Do yourself a favor and listen to this today!!!

Love Emily Beresford

Emily Beresford is probably the best narrator for the kurtherian series. If you've had the pleasure of listening to her read the Kurtherian Gambit series, you know she brings every character to life. A good example is hearing about a man who is of German descent who lives in Texas and listening to her modulate her voice and accents to give you exactly what that would sound like makes the experience listening to her Epic.

Great Due to Author and Narrator!!!!

I loved this book. One of the main reasons, for those who love the KGU books, is first Michaels writing and second Emily’s narration. I have listened to other KGU books and there just not the same without a great narrator to bring the characters to life. Also Kate Rudd in the TH series but the others not so good. For this book I’m so excited and I love how every character is woven into each book. I’m glad Sarah Jennifer has finally grown up and bringing Ted in was a nice surprise. I can’t wait for the next book and I hope in the future that Emily narrates all KGU books!!! For Michael Anderle is an amazing writer so please keep them coming, especially more with Bethany Ann and Michael.
Highly recommended

Terrible

I’ve never stopped a story 15 minutes in until this one. It felt like it started in the middle and the narration sounded stilted and electronic. I’m bummed, the premise sounded good.

If I never hear the name Sarah Jennifer again it will be far to soon. Every other sentence starts with "Sarah Jennifer"
