This series will definitely grip you and not let go. Callie Rose brings mystery to RH and it’s so good. I read this series almost a year ago and since I’m now listening to the audio, I’m refreshing my reviews.

And just like that, I’ll never look at a pool in the same way. I’ll never ask anyone if they want to go swimming without having a private smile. I’ll think of Harlow, Lincoln, River, Dax, and Chase. I’ll think of cool water and warm bodies and staying in the shallow end. (If you know, you know)
And if that isn’t enough to intrigue you, Harlow’s mom is now in jail, awaiting trial for a murder she didn’t commit. Harlow and the boys are navigating falling in low and solving this mystery.
A solid second book in a series dear to my heart.

I love the narration, even though there are a few mispronounced words. It’s annoying but not enough to not enjoy the story.

Callie Rose is the boss of RH bully romance! all the feels again with this one! going to definitely finish this series!

The Lie

This is another great story from this author. Harlow and the kings are continuing to investigate who killed Iris and I enjoyed the development of the story in this book. The ending had a huge revelation, but of course ended on a cliffhanger that has me dying to start book 3! Definitely a must listen.

Wow

I can say that I’m not a big fan of rh but Callie rose knows how to squeeze the love that the characters have. Very well written and a slow burn of rh. But anyways the story got even better and I was literally in the edge of my seat. Definitely a must get. And narrator as always did a great job.

The Awesomeness Continues! Amazing Audible Listen🎧

I am loving this series! This second book picks up right where “The Help” leaves off, this book focuses on Harlow trying to find answers to exonerate her mother, who is a pawn and an innocent victim. Harlow felt betrayed by all four kings and she refuses to speak the any of them. Lincoln does not give up on trying to explain his reasons, he and the boys finally get their chance. Together they team up to get to the bottom of everything that goes on. Harlow continues to be bullied at school, with everything going on she falls behind and barely gets by. Time is ticking as they try to get answers, every clue brings on more questions and Callie Rose keeps you wondering and thinking what is going on and who is responsible. The book is well plotted, there is plenty of drama, angst, action, mystery, suspense, twists and turns and some hot RH style romance.

I listened to the Audible edition, Amanda Stribling its an terrific narrator and voice artist. She continues to bring these characters to life, giving each their own voice and personality. You could hear how much heart she puts into her performance, she captures the characters emotions and passion which she projects into her performance. Her portrayal of the characters is spot on, she does them justice. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to.

I freakin' love this series!!!!

So we start this where we left off. Lo's mom has been arrested and is being held in jail w/o bail. Lo is pissed at the boys but they have reason's for what they did and eventually she forgives them. Then they have to work together to free her Mom and figure out who the real killer is. The relationships with the boys also heats up in this installment and it turns into more of a reverse harem in this book. There is a major cliffhanger at the end of this book too. Overall the narration was very good and while the story line at times was too slow it did keep me entertained. Audio Obsession Reviewer.

I love this series!! Harlow is amazingly strong and the Kings are just beautiful people. River is my favorite so far. The story has several surprises in it that really keep you on edge. I look forward to more books from Callie Rose.

The Lie

It’s hard to know who to trust with so many secrets being kept. Even though Harlow gets some answers with the help of the kings, time is running out. Love the twists that Callie Rose throws in. I’m sure book 3 will be just as good, if not better.

This book proved my theory after listening to book one wrong. I thought I had it figured out then the author changed thing up and kept me guessing. I look forward to the next book and future twist and turns. #AudiobookObsessionReviewer

Less angst, more confidence needed

Harlow and her mom's lives have been turned upside-down. This was supposed to be a great opportunity, their new life. Instead it's turned into a nightmare. Someone is playing puppet master and is playing with their lives. Harlow isn't going to allow them to destroy the person she loves most in this world, her mom. Her mom has always been there for her. Now it's time to return the favor with a little help from the four kings. 

I felt like we almost took a step backward in this book. Yes, there were a couple really steamy scenes but I didn't feel the emotional connection grow. I think the murder charges are close to ridiculous. It just seems such a stretch to pin the murder on Harlow's mom. I felt like we were in a holding pattern with Harlow visiting her mom (couldn't they be in a visitation room?) and Harlow jumping from house to house. I also feel like Savannah is an underutilized character. Why does she hate Harlow so much? Where is the backstory? She doesn't seem to want any of the guys, Harlow isn't after her cheerleading position or wanting to replace her as queen of the school, so why target her? I did like the misdirection and have I mentioned that I love River? I am invested now. I need to see how this is all going to play out, so I need the next book. 


I feel like Amanda Stribling is not being used on this character like she should be. Harlow has 4 gorgeous men. She should be confident and sexy. Worried about her mom. Too much she comes across as angsty and whiny. There are moments of annoyance that shouldn't happen. #AudiobookObsessionReviewer
