Bryce Taylor and Eryn Garrett are part of the Special Investigations Unit based in Dark Valley City, Mariner Valley sector, Mars. They are dispatched to Nippon City in the Kasei Valles to investigate a series of suspicious deaths. At first, the cause of death can't be determined. Later, the medical examiner learns that the deaths have been caused by something that is not supposed to be on Mars. It was banned during the early colonization period. Bryce and Eryn team up with two detectives on the Nippon City Police Department to find out who is responsible and bring them to justice.

Introduction to the future of Mars

The author weaves and enchanting story on a futuristic Mars civilization. There are undertones of a much broader story involving the future of earth civilization. The author uses dialogue effectively to help the reader visualize the futuristic environment. Look forward to the sequel.
