Engaging!
It did take several chapters for me to get interested in the story as the beginning and middle are a bit slow (in my opinion), but I’m glad I stuck it out. Great read!

unexpected twist!
I had this saved in my TBR for the last several months after seeing it recommended on a post by the author in the psychological thriller readers Facebook group. Finally gave it a chance and was pleased instantly. I made a far fetched guess and while I was right, the author did am excellent job of leading me in an entirely different direction while still throwing enough red flags and questioning looks at the real villain so that it wasn't one of those books that makes you say "that guy? no way!".

Love vs violence. Weird story but kept my attention. I recommend it to those who enjoy weird characters.
A bit too long and slow dialogues. I could not relate to any of them.

Very disturbing story
I listen to 3-4 audiobooks a week and love psychological thrillers. This book however was not only disturbing on many levels, including, but not limited to, use of inhumane animal traps. I was not invested in any of the characters and found the book to be totally unbelievable. Sorry I wasted a credit on this. The performance was very good, story, no!
