Awesome adventure!

A psychic madman is on the loose and the only ones that can stop him is a vampire and a vegan psychic. This improbable pair have to learn how to work together to become the assassins they are meant to be.
I love all of Sarah Noffke’s books and this one didn’t disappoint. I definitely recommend!

Delightful Urban Fantasy

I was very entertained by this first book in the "Delta Underground Operatives" series. The author wrote a creative story combining action, humor, and great characters. Damien was the epitome of dark lords, and Clara was the perfect humanitarian. I enjoyed their sparks and clever dialogue. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. Annalee Scott's narration was great, and her performance enhanced the story's entertainment. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Damien and Clara’

Damien and Clara become partners even though the differences that doesn't really seem like they would work. Worth reading and/or listening to.

Love this

Clara and Damien are polar opposites, but they must come together and learn to work as a team if they are to protect magic from the evil forces in the world. Clara a quiet, shy vegetarian and Damien an outgoing, loud, vampire must learn to live with each other’s gifts and quirks now that they are bonded and that includes meals. It is a lot to take on but they must try hard.
This is the first book in the series and I am grateful for the beginnings. I like knowing how things start and not just drop in along the way. The voice actor for this book, Annalee Scott will have you lost in the book like you are there living with them and helping the pair along so you might want to take the long way home. The characters are fun and believable, they remind me of brother and sister with bad sibling rivalry. This is a great series so far and I cannot wait for more

An enjoyable, unique read/listen

A well-written, interesting read, with intriguing, well-developed characters. “I received a free Audible copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to reading more from this author and in this series. Annalee Scott's narration adds to the book’s enjoyment. opposites attract

I received this free from the author. At first when I started it I wasn't sure I would like it, but as I continued to listen I really liked it. The two characters are as opposite as two people can be. They have no choice now but to work together and they start watching out for each other. Clara and Damien start equalizing each other out to complete their missions. If you liked the Beaufont series of Sarah's I am sure you will like this one too. I also liked the narrators voice in this story. Try it I am sure you will enjoy it as much as I did. I am now on to Book 2.

A must read!

This was such a great book from beginning to end. The narrator was fantastic as she made the book come alive. I was on the edge of my seat by the end of book. What may start out as the improbable pair of Clara and Damien certainly doesn’t stay that way as by the end of the book. They become a great team in sync with each other to get things done. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Loved every minute

I can’t wait for the next one! I loved listening to this. The narrator was amazing! Story was awesome and it kept me invested!! I need more!

Can’t wait for more

After starting the story, I thought til it would be a wee bit cliched. Nope! Just kidding. It was actually delightful! I do not like how the book just stopped. I need more! Want more! Can’t wait for more! My favorite parts is the little nick names they come up with. It makes me wish I had that! Tapping my toes waiting Sarah!

What a fun story to listen to. An interesting concept an empathy and a vampire as assassins. Lots of humor allows for easy listening
