About this listen

A self-selected collection of classic satire from the renowned humorist Will Rogers. The Illiterate Digest, although poking clean fun at politicians and absurdity from a century ago, may at first listen appear to be satire written about last weeks news.©2008 CoolBeat Audiobooks (P)2008 CoolBeat Audiobooks Comedy Witty

Outdated by 50 years

What disappointed you about The Illiterate Digest?

This book was written for at least fifty or more years ago. A lot of the people he talks about are dead now, have no influence in pop culture. I have no frame of reference about these people he is commenting on, Was that suppose to be funny? Yes fifty years ago you would have laughed your self to sleep. Yea! I get it........

Has The Illiterate Digest turned you off from other books in this genre?

n/a

Would you be willing to try another one of John Gillmore’s performances?

Maybe

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointed I got little use from this book

Any additional comments?

Don't buy this turkey unless you have nothing to do. You can research the people he talks about and maybe you'll enjoy it.
