The murders of four innocent college students attending the University of Idaho left us all with so many questions.

Now, after more than 300 interviews, James Patterson and prize-winning journalist Vicky Ward finally have some answers.

We know what it was like to live in Moscow, Idaho, on November 13, 2022, the day of the cold-blooded killings.

We know what the local police and FBI did right. And what they did wrong.

We’ve learned so much about the four heartbroken families—the Mogens, Goncalveses, Kernodles, and Chapins.

And we have the backstory for Bryan Kohberger, brilliant grad student, loner, apparent incel—now indicted and facing trial.

Now you are the jury.

The evidence is in.

Learning more about each individual victim and their families, was heart aching. So senseless, such promise from each victim. The victims come alive in the book. The toll that this horrible crime took on everyone involved, made the story even more sad, very few books have given me nightmares, this one did. I pray for each of the families and I say an extra prayer for Steve’s healing. His rage leaps off the page. Narration is excellent,

This book was done so well. The info provided answers so many questions that layman like myself have asked, read & watched documentaries for something...anything to give some idea of who and why. I got more answers for my own peace from this book. I still am angry that the monster isn't going to face his peers. He deserves nothing. I pray for the victims families every night. I hope that this book helped in some small way. A definite great read.

This is an amazing tribute to the lives of the 4 souls lost by this horrific human. The fact his parents could think he didn’t do it instead of acknowledging the destruction of 4 families he caused.

Amazing Insight

Please write a second book with all the updated stuff since BK took the plea deal and admitted to the murders!

Heartbreaking, disturbing, unimaginable

Great book, you truly humanized these victims in a way no one has been able to. I wish you would have known about a few things he did and wrote about separate and aside from the papa Rodger posts. You missed the post he made where he spoke of knowing the girls were in the bed together dead long before it came out in the media. That post was in a FB group the Monday following the murders. He also wrote on a 4chan thread exactly the coordinates of where the knife was buried (look up Sweetie Pielo on YT) that was posted Sunday Nov 20th 2022. He was posting obscene material of stabbings and speculating on how the killer changed out of their clothes and there would be no dna found in car. Also one of the psychics that came in very early to channel the killer, Donna Seraphina, was super accurate describing him at 6 foot, dark wavy hair and he was older than college age, that he was tempted to murder his mom if she confronted him whatsoever. That he killed Kaylee different than the others since proven to be true. She also stated that Maddie was the target and that a body part was taken from Kaylee. When reading with Xana friend she perceived that they first met at a pool party. All of this was before we even knew Bryan was the killer. To learn more about these things mentioned go to YouTube and type in part 1 “they met at a pool party” Idaho 4. There’s so much to know and you probably are unaware of these things if you weren’t in the threads like a few of us were.

I know where he buried the knife

I loved that the victim’s families participated and got their story out. I also loved how the timeline was presented

I enjoyed this book VERY much. It focused on the victims, explained more about the character of BK through interviews, and humanized the case team. It presented the families without bias. I realize that cases will always leave the public wanting more, but that is jurisprudence. I hope all of the families can find peace and heal in the future and remember their children ways that work for them without exploitation.

It’s a book, not evidence…

While it may not be 100% what happened, I do believe this book is probably the closest to the facts of the case. I appreciate the care that was given to the families.

Very well done
