The Hot One Stars

I love books like these, a good second chance romance. I really loved how they both had to get over past hurts to truly make a second chance worth it.

Tyler was just yummy and I have to say switching narrators was perfect because Zachary Webber was the perfect voice for Tyler.

Tyler really puts himself out there in this book, I think it was genius that when their eyes meet again after so long they both felt that thing. And that Tyler was as truthful as he could be because he honestly wanted another chance to make it right.

When you know, you know.

It took me a little more time to warm up to Delaney maybe because I wanted her to forgive and forget to fast. But I think what turned it around for me was that she did make him work a little more for it to truly prove that he was in it for her.

I also loved that Andi Arndt was the voice of Delaney she really brought out some of that emotion that you need with a book like this.

Love it, recommend. Lauren Blakely kills a Rom Com like no one else.

Much better than I imagined

Would you consider the audio edition of The Hot One to be better than the print version?

I have only listened to this and have not read the book. I feel that I would still enjoy the print but I wanted to listen to this first because I love Lauren Blakely's other audiobooks!

What other book might you compare The Hot One to and why?

I honestly am not sure because this second-chance romance was done very well!

Have you listened to any of Zachary Webber and Andi Arndt ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I do not believe I have listened to any of his but I have listened to several of hers. I think this is one of her best simply because I was not familiar with this book before. I have read other books by Lauren and then listened to Andi's narration.

Loved it!

I love Lauren Blakely's fully well rounded female characters! This book might be steaming hot, but It's also just a wonderful story about well thought out second chances and two people who are made for each other. Loved it!

Steamy and sweet

Nice balance of steamy and sweet. Love the idea of second chances. The characters discuss effect of parents on current relationships.

A TRULY WONDERFUL STORY!

I absolutely loved this audiobook! At the top of the list for favorites. Could not stop once started. Completely sweeps you up into this romantic,funny,heartwarming story that leaves you feeling complete.
Narrators are outstanding and are the perfect match for this story and feel as if was written for them! Truly enjoyable.

After breaking her heart in college because his career was more important, he sees her out of the blue and is determined to get to know her and win her back. Hesitant and still angry over the breakup she finally gives in after his big gesture. After some time will these gestures and showing his love for her help with her trust issues.

Great narration

I enjoyed this book. It wasn’t very long, but it was a good story.
Zachary Webber makes it all the better. I have yet to listen to a book he narrates that I didn’t enjoy his performance.

Sweet Second Chance Romance

Not sure at all what the name refers to in the book, but it’s a sweet story of reclaiming lost love, relatively free of contrivance, with fleshed out characters and some pretty prose.

Way to go dude

Don’t know if I would have taken him back especially the way he broke it off. But I guess with his good looks and what he does to get her back I probably would have folded. But then she should have made him work harder, hell why not she was worth it and he was cocky. Good book

Lauren Blakely can do no wrong...
add Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber to the mix, and I'm in aural heaven!
