Well, maybe you can, but that’s beside the point, because I will protect Jackson no matter what, even if I almost drown him in the process. (Really, that wasn’t my fault. This is the second book in a series - while you could listen and enjoy it on its own, you really should listen to The Hitman’s Guide to Making Friends and Finding Love for maximum enjoyment.

need the next book

this is one of my favorite book series other then the vrc books i cant help but lol when i listen to your books and my kids look at me like i am crazy but great job as always and great job to Michael

Funny

This had me laughing out loud. I wish it didn't have to end. I was so excited to heels more and know how it was going to end. When it finally ended I was sad it was over. These two books are why I got into the author Alice winters. Love her work.

The BEST

The book is fantastic on its own! But the guy who reads it is fantastic! I've never wanted to leave a review so bad. He's amazing!!! I love his voice and character changes. He's so great! I would love for him to read every book I read lol.

Alice Winters by far is my favorite author. She delivers and adrenaline shot of tear jerking belly aches that will downright crack up the agelast. I would so love to converse with her brain!

whether you read or listen to this. It is a delight and here we go... No matter what I say, this review will not do the book Justice.It has a plethora of advice on relationship, communication, humor, and spice in an ass backwards viewpoint of morals, Choose to take it as a message or just for enjoyment. It can go either way. And a curtsy with flourish for Mr Michael Ferraiuolo (narrator).

• Story is entertaining, dialog amusing and characters likeable. If you go into this book expecting general silliness and nothing particularly deep you won't be disappointed.
• Michael Ferraiuolo does a fantastic job on the narration, his sweet, snarky always enthusiastic Leland is spot on and Jackson comes across as perfectly wrapped around Leland's little finger. 😊

Amazing!

I never wanted this book to end! I loved every single word from beginning to end. It is impossible to explain what is so phenomenal about this book, you have to experience it for yourself. Alice Winters has created one of my favorite characters ever in Leland...I am completely in love with a Hitman! This had everything I wanted and more...humor, snark, wit, charm, emotion, epic storytelling... it was exceptional! Jackson and Leland are back with their friends from the first book as well as some new characters that were a wonderful addition, especially Castle who i hope gets his own book one day.
I cannot imagine anyone but Michael Farriaoulo narrating this story. He just is Leland and Jackson. He adds so much to the story with the way he interprets and narrates this book. He brings the inflections, the feelings and the humor front and center. I laughed out loud, I kept going back and reslistening to parts, I will immediately listen to this again. Everyone needs to experience this audiobook!

Hilarious and exciting

Another amazing adventure. Leland is a joy and Jackson is the perfect partner for him. Really enjoyed how the relationship developed and the way the stakes escalated through the book. Castle was a fun addition to the cast. and Leland's developing trust with Ava and Henry was fun to see too. Loved it.

A wonderful follow up

I fell in love with the first and now there’s this. I love every moment and new characters! No lag or a boring part in this book. Michael did wonderfully in bringing, once again, these awesome character to life.
